Back to the boxes

When it comes to investing what are you good at? I mean really good at? What style of investing resonates with you that if you used no other method and simply did “Wash, rinse and repeat” you could not only garner consistent gains but manage effectively?

For me it’s my “Boxes” I first learned of these from reading the book by Nikolas Darvas and his “Darvas Box” set ups. For me it’s very stream lined and organized. I have a list of criteria, I take that list, then place it into my scanner, and begin searching. From those results I then check out the Options activity on the stock, to determine if I want to play with common shares or with Options. If I do use Options what are my best choices in the way of premium? Open Interest? And other deciding factors. One that came to me a while back that I shared with you is SFM. The last time I wrote about SFM was back on May 3, 2024, or 4 weeks ago. Since then SFM is up over 30%. And up 160% in the past year.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. “Strength typically creates more strength where as weakness typically creates more weakness. Finding stocks that are gaining strength then sharing that info with others is what I do.
